Description:Help a Child Smile is proud to announce its 22nd annual Help a Child Smile Extravaganza. The event will take place Saturday, August 30th, 2008 at Club Richelieu in Welland. The goal for this year?s event is to raise enough money to send 65 cancer patients from the McMaster?s Children?s Hospital, and their families, to the Give Kids the World Village in Florida. This year, with such a large number of children eagerly awaiting these trips, the organization needs more community support than ever before. In return, Help a Child Smile is offering the most exciting extravaganza ever. With event headliner, EDWIN, former lead singer for I Mother Earth, and a full day of family-friendly entertainment, including Canadian Idol runner-up Chad Doucette, it is sure to be an unforgettable experience for all who attend. Admission is $5.00 per person upon entrance and includes a free pancake breakfast and a chance to win all kinds of fantastic prizes. Kids aged 13 and under may enter for free.
