Buses and subways run very frequently. 10 minute walk to Central Park and lovely Conservatory Garden - great for runners. 15 minute walk to Museo Del Barrio and Museum of the City of New York on Fifth Avenue. Restaurants, convenience stores (Duane Reade, bodegas, delis), and inexpensive shopping right in neighborhood. Laundromat 1 block away. U.S. Post Office and New York Public Library branch is just 3 blocks away. The area is vibrant and a true slice of New York. Colorful murals by artists such as Dela Vega adorn the walls of many buildings - very unique to Spanish Harlem! My apartment is great for one or two people who need a neat and clean place to stay while seeing all that NYC has to offer. Kitchen has full-size refrigerator/​freezer, microwave, coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender, juicer, dishes, cups, utensils, and cooking equipment. I can often pick up a signal anyway. I do have an HP printer (with paper) and computer speakers that you can hook up to your own laptop. East Harlem Cafe (just a few blocks away) offers wireless internet. Also, the local branch of the New York Public Library has a few computer terminals with internet access.
