Description:Shanti Penthouse - Laxmi This is truly a luxurious and spacious penthouse suite with cathedral ceilings and light infused skylights, inspiring views from private roof deck, warm and stylish eclectic mix of modern meets exotic furnishings, hardwood floors, exposed brick and gorgeous tapestry wall hangings, marble bathroom, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Relax and feel at peace (shanti) amidst the bustle of NYC in your own trendy East Village romantic retreat. Beautiful queen bed and sleeper sofa can sleep 4 comfortably. Flat screen TV, CD/DVD Players, cable, and high speed internet access included. The Penthouse is fully air-conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter. We have 3 Shanti Penthouses on the fifth floor. It's a walk-up building. Location Our location is 73 East 3rd Street - between 1st and 2nd Avenues - steps away from the 2nd Ave. Subway Station. From there you can be anywhere in Manhattan including Time Square, Central Park, Fifth Ave, Empire State and Chrysler Buildings, Brooklyn Bridge, Chelsea, Meat Packing, Fashion and Financial Districts and other attractions in less than 10mins. Just blocks away is the fashionable Soho, Greenwich Village, Little Italy, and Chinatown. And just around the corner you will find a wide variety of restaurants, trendy shops, and sophisticated bars. We provide the ideal and strategic location to conduct business or enjoy the art galleries, theaters, museums, and the night life of East Village. Features Complimentary Breakfast is served in our Lounge every morning starting at 7am. It includes a variety of fruits, cereals, milk, breads, butter, jams, tea, coffee... etc. There is also a Wholefoods Supermarket a couple blocks away. All our Apartments, Suites and Penthouses have access to our Rooftop Patio where you can kick back and relax enjoying a panoramic view of Upper Manhattan. The Penthouse has wireless internet connection if you need to get on-line for business, school work or entertainment. Rates January and February ONLY: $170/night (Winter Special) March 4 - December 4: $260/night There will be an extra fee of $100 added to your final bill for tax, cleaning, utilities and administration services. We only do reservations of 4 nights minimum. Groups of more than 4 are $10 extra a night per person with a limit of 6 people per apartment. Extra bedding will be provided. Check-in is at 3:00pm and check-out at 11:00am. If you arrive early, you're welcome to leave your bags in the lobby and get a bite to eat or wait and have a cup of tea until your apartment is ready. The same applies at check-out. There is a late check-in fee for arrivals past 10pm. Cancellation Policy: In the event of a cancellation, we ask that you please give us a two week notice in order to refund you - minus a $80 service fee. If you do cancel after that and we are not able re-book the nights you reserved, we cannot guarantee you a refund - hope it does not happen. Charity Work A portion of our revenue goes to fund several of our out-reach projects including our Food for Life, feeding the hungry and homeless of the Lower East Side three days per week. Sanctuary Guest Suites - Bed & Breakfast helps us carry out this charity work and at the same time offers you a peaceful and beautiful place to stay and enjoy you visit to NYC.
