Description:This is our house where we live when we are not away. It has a yard with lots of herbs and lemons and artichokes. It is 5 minutes walk from the largest farmers' market in San Francisco and the largest flee market in the bay area. The house has three lovely bedrooms, two bathrooms and one spacious living/​dining room with fireplace, opening into a wide and sunny kitchen. Our floors are hardwood upstairs and softwood downstairs. The study downstairs has a private bathroom with shower and opens into a yard. The master bedroom has a double bed queen size. If you like pilates or yoga, you can use my roller and my mats. Lots of books in the living room. My child room has two adult size twin beds. The studio downstairs has a sofa/​twin bed. It also has an en-suite bathroom and a 32 TV with basic Comcast and additional RAI (in case you understand Italian). You will have free wi-fi throughout the house, a good printer/​fax and a land line. In the garage you can do your laundry (large washer and dryer). Our two cats Orma and Tata are totally independent, they live outside and come into a flap door into my little studio downstairs (not for rent) to eat, drink and sleep. We'd love to rent our house to cat lovers who won't mind refilling their food dispenser when it goes down (about once a week). Their water system is set up to function on its own. Our wonderful Eva comes once a week to clean the house at no extra cost to you. We love to cook, have good copper pots and lots of cookbooks. If you'd rather eat out, you will be 5 minutes walk from Cortland Avenue where you can dine out, do your food shopping at small but very good quality stores (Good Life, Avedano the butcher, 331 Cortland indoor market - just reviewed from the New York Times - and Sand Box Bakery, the yummiest place for breakfast European Style). Vibrant Valencia is a taxi hop away (or a short bus ride). For those who need to commute to the Peninsula, Highway 101 south or 280 south are 3 minutes ride away. Our neighbors are very nice and our street is very quiet. Parking on the street is very easy. A deposit of 50% of the full value of the rental is required and will confirm the booking. The deposit will be returned within 5 days of the end of the stay, and after Eva walks through my house to see that everything is in place.
