You will have no problem finding parking, getting what otherwise would be impossible tickets to events. The city has wonderfull beaches close by either a quick drive, by subway or metro north. Students are away, you have the city all to your self, not quite apple time, but the farmers markets are full of amazing produce. I have spent whole afternoons walking around the neighborhood, only to find my self listening to a poetry reading or some music in one of the community gardens as the fireflies iluminate the night it is a magical experience that you can have. I have rented to couples in the past who have fallen in love with each other all over again thanks to the magic of the village.- my apartment is ideal for couple, ample enough to have space, and with a full size kitchen, and local farmers markets, whole foods, and the amazing Essex Market, your choice of amazing produce visit Jeff the butcher, tell him I sent you.- If cooking is not your thing, we have everything from gourmet Italian, to amazing Chinese take out, to really good New York pizza- hundreds of restaurants with in a few block radius. The aparment is spacious,( actually quite large for the East Village) large full size bedroom with a Queen size bed and even though it is not the lap of luxury, it is well kept and clean in a well mantained coop building- I own my apartement. It is furnished, I provide linnens, and it is located in a great block, 2nd street between A and B. -Subway one and a half blocks away, crosstown bus on the corner, uptown bus, a block away. It is a non smoking place, mutual respect- as a traveler I respect your property, and I expect the same- is the operative word. I would love to hear from you, after all, it is impossible to find a hotel for this price, and you get the whole place.-Three nights minimum at this time- If possible, let me know at least a week in advance to plan my trip- I am a traveler after all.
