The two round towers add to its charm and will fascinate lovers of historic buildings. It was such a luxury to wake up to the sun and the ocean", ~ Gemma Ward nDear Mother Timmons,, nThis is my year to make the travel arrangements for our annual trip to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I know that you were not happy with the home cousin Elroy chose last year ...and I had warned him that renting through a ",rent by owner", site was not the right thing to do. I still shudder when I think of the nasty carpeting and the lumpy mattresses. nThis year I assure you that you will approve of the vacation rental home I have picked out for us. nFirst of all, of course the house I have chosen is on the oceanfront in Nags Head...near Milepost 11.5 which means we will be close to some of the great Outer Banks restaurants and shopping. There are seven bedrooms and seven full baths and one half bath. Since Father Timmons uses a cane I did select a nice home with a handicap accessible bath/shower located on the ground level. However there is an elevator too...which means no more lugging all those suitcases and grocery bags up the stairs. nThere is a private pool and a hot tub too...we all enjoyed that last year. There is even a Tiki Bar by the pool so make sure you bring that delicious Pina Colada recipie. nCousin Elroy and Harvey can shoot pool as often as they like in the rec room and I am excited that we will also have a theater room. I will bring the popcorn and the raisenettes and some movies. nMother Timmons you will love this part, all the bed linens and bath towels are provided! Remember last year when we spent the first 90 minutes making beds? Well, this time the beds are made before we check in. nHere are the bed sizes: 3 kings, 2 queens, 2 double beds, twin and pyramid bunk. Two of the bedrooms have whirlpool tubs. nPlease let me know what you think. Village Realty allowed me to put a 24 hour hold on this house (wasn't that nice?) because I don't want to lose it for the week we want to come. If you approve I can pay online right away. nI made sure that this home did not allow pets or smoking...I remembered about your allergies. Ernestine can check her email too since there is WiFi access...she just needs to bring her laptop. There is a fax machine too. Oh, and this is a Sunday to Sunday house...so we can take our time on Saturday packing and loading the cars. nI can't wait to go to Lone Cedar Cafe for dinner! And the woman at Village Realty told me that we have to try Blue Moon Beach Grill, it is near the house. The kitchen also has a breakfast bar, with seating for 6. In addition to the double ovens, there are two standard refrigerators, and one industrial refrigerator, plus two dishwashers. This home was MADE for large gatherings! There is a pool room on the second floor, which also has a flat panel TV. Through the pool room is The End Zone furnished with a queen bed and a twin bed, which has its own TV and VCR/DVD player, and private bath. If you're feeling a little wild, you can retire to the Master bedroom, Monkey Business. This bedroom has a king bed and twin sleeper chair, its own TV with VCR and DVD player, and a private bath. n nTHIRD FLOOR Up a set of spiral stairs, careful of the swashbuckler climbing up next to you, is a small den with a large TV, a DVD player, stereo, and comfortable seating. There is a third floor deck with incredible ocean views. There are also two bedrooms on this floor, perfect for the kids. The Dinosaur Den is furnished with a king bed, and has its own TV and private bath. Across the den, The Sponge Bob Square Pants Room is decorated with everyone's favorite square yellow guy, and furnished with two queen beds. It has a private bath. Each home includes free parking, screened porch or deck, initial supply of linens and towels, washer and dryer, color cable TV, air conditioning, starter supply of paper products and detergents, fully equipped kitchen with dinnerware, flatware, pots and pans, plus local telephone service.

Each bedroom has it’s own flatscreen TV with satelitte and en suite bathroom. The stunning bedroom of both guesthouses give breathtaking views and have their own kitchenette. Each bedroom of the guesthouse has a king size bed and a double bed. nOur staff works from Monday to Saturday. They are here to pamper you in a week of heaven. They will make sure your have everything you need in order to make your stay a memorable vacation. Let our staff know if you want them to book for you additional service such as massages, yoga, etc.. Let them know if you want to do Kayaking or Snorkeling on your own beach. nEnjoy a delicious complimentary arrival dinner so that you do not have to worry about anything on your first day.
