An attractive feature of the kitchen is the door leading out to a small stone courtyard where you will find the BBQ as well as a cast iron patio table and chairs for two. This is a nice shaded outdoor area - a great place to get out of the sun in the afternoon, or out of the winds off of Lake Huron, and still enjoy the outdoors. The kitchen opens up into the dining room where you will find a table and six chairs to comfortably fit everyone in your family. This is a nice and bright space with a window overlooking the side yard. There is a sitting room just off the dining room. This sitting room has two plush reading chairs, as well as a stereo with an impressive music collection. With windows that overlook the sunroom and an opening into the dining room, this is a bright, comfortable space for some downtime. The sitting room opens into the sunroom which is a bright room with numerous windows overlooking the waterfront. A love seat as well as a small table and chairs provide front row seating to the world famous sunsets over Lake Huron. There is also a telescope in the sunroom with which to explore the night sky on a clear night. There are two bedrooms on the main living level, both with double beds and nice size windows to let in the natural light. The second bedroom also features a cathedral ceiling. There are additional sleeping spaces at the cottage so that there is room for all six in the party, though they do present a safety hazard to young children. Two lofts at the cottage can be accessed by either a spiral staircase or a ladder. These lofts are at opposite ends above the main living area. They each have two single beds in them. They open into the living area below and there is no railing on either loft, so this is not a suitable place for children. The bathroom at the cottage is a four piece, with a shower as well as a beautiful claw foot tub, perfect for bubble baths! There is also an outdoor shower at the cottage, great for washing off the sand. There is a two-storey tree house outside with a pullout couch and plenty of windows for a nice, bright sleeping space.
