Description:Boho appartment of 84 sq.m. smack in the centre of Copenhagen. Nice and cosy appartment in building from 1890 righ where the worlds longest pedestrian street starts. Area: This is the eye of Cph. right between the Botanical Gardens, the Kings Gardens and the pedestrian street shopping area. It is a 30 second walk from the Nørreport Station and Metro, which is the main transportation hub in the city. Take the metro from the airport (there is only 1 line) and 15 minutes later, you are in your vacation home. So kick back and feel at home, chill out in a park, shop till you drop or take a jog around the 'lakes' in copenhagen - 4 minute walk away. Appartment: The appartment is retro boho style. So nothing fancy but very cozy. Old TV, dvd (you are free to see our films). There is a whole wall of books, you are free to read as well. There is a coffee grinder and take out cups, so you can take your freshly brewed morning coffee with you to the botanical gardens or kings garden across the street. The appartment is in a building away from the street. This means no fancy view, but also no noise from the street. The appartment consists of one bedroom w. double bed, large living room with cozy corner and dinner table for up to 8 people. Large fully equipped kitchen with gas stove and dinner table for four. Bathroom with shower 'Copenhagen style' - (meaning small). the complex has a court yard with tables and a grill, you are free to use. there is also a roof top terrace. Grill is not allowed there, but it makes for a nice dinner place. linnen, towels, coffee, tea is included, and things to use for cooking like seasoning and oils, you are free to use. We will leave you with a map of Copenhagen and a book of our secret favorite places in the area and the city, that you will not find in any guide books. The bed room is only for two, but there is an air mattress for two and a very large couch, so three more people can sleep in the living room. Looking forward to hearing from you. It is in walking distance from (and on the same street as) Tivoli, Central Station and City hall. The Copenhagen Zoo and local parks are also nearby, and the bus to the City center (4 minutes) is 3 meters from the entrance. This more than 250 year old apartment had a full renovation last year and all 140 kvm2 is new and modern, but with the feel of the past, and view down and up Vesterbrogade, as well as the local 'Black Horse' theatre and one of the oldest bakeries in Copenhagen (anno 1771), with a cafe and the best bread in the city, right across the street. You can also just watch the cafe and it's mucisians from above in your barstool in the living-room or go to the dining-room and sit outside on the mattress with your evening drink. - But please notice the outside is not for children - it is not guarded properly for that. Though the area is not extremely interesting, the apartment is very nice and is well located. 3 min. drive to the motorway, that take you to beautiful posh Vedbæk and Rungsted and further north to the area around Helsingør with lots of historical and culturel sights.
