Our house sleeps 4-5 comfortably, has a large outdoor veranda surrounded by 2 koi ponds where we spend most of our time. There is a large inside living room, a separate fully equipped Western kitchen with oven and microwave, and a large terazo hot water bathtub in an open air bathroom. All 3 bedrooms on the second floor open out onto gorgeous views of rice fields and gardens, two with double size antique Maduranese teakwood beds. The third bedroom has one single bed and a single size loft style bed - great for young kids. The third floor offers a comfortable space with more amazing views to read, nap, do yoga, or watch the 32” flat screen cable tv. The house is equipped with high speed internet. Hardwood floors and woven bamboo walls throughout the second and third floors keep the house amazingly cool both day and night. The house is staffed with the family’s housekeeper who provides daily house cleaning services. Organic fruits and vegetables, grown throughout the property and looked after by our gardener are available upon request. Our family keeps several animals. Shirley, the goat, Missy the dog, Caesar and Cleopatra our black and white rabbits, Vicki and Christina the free range chickens, and Dude and Dusty the most loveable cats. They are all cared for by the staff and live outside or at my house on the same property. I am an American who made Bali my permanent home in 1986.
