Fresh water swimming at your door, Beautiful views, and Everything you will need for a great vacation away from it all. n The cottage has a living room with wood burning fireplace, dining room, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher,ice maker, washer/dryer, utensils, plates, cooking items), 1 full bath, and 2 bedrooms with ceiling fans (accommodates up to 4, 1 King bed in 1 room, 1 bunk bed in the other (double bottom, single top), an oversize deck out front (20 feet x 24 feet) with great views over looking Wellfleet 's Great Pond while you Bar-B-Que, enjoying your morning coffee, or having a fun and memorable family meal. n Connected directly to the deck are steps that lead right to the waters edge for easy access for swimming and the large private floating dock. n nGreat Location: n nDirectly on Wellfleet 's Great Pond this is a charming spot with a private beach and dock, far enough from the crowds, yet only a short distance to the ocean or town center and surrounding areas. You are truly in for a fantastic vacation! n nEverything you need: n nComes with all the amenities to make your vacation easy Washer and Dryer, Microwave, Blender, Coffee Maker, Phone for local calls, Gas Stove, Dishwasher, Ice Maker in freezer, and Bar-B-Que. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, plates, and silverware. Make breakfast, a quick lunch, or a full dinner and save the expense of eating out. Have a Bar-B_Que on the deck and enjoy the view of the pond while having a great meal. Linens are provided (i.e. sheets, pillowcases, and towels), we also provide pillows and blankets. Linens (sheets, pillowcases, and towels) can be self provided for a $100 per week reduction in rates, blankets and pillows will still be provided. n nRental Information: n nRental periods run from Saturday (check-in 3:00 PM) to the Following Saturday (check-out 10AM), This lovely Wellfleet cottage is one of only two we know of available for rent on Great pond and we book up fast so hurry and enjoy a truly great vacation, n nDon 't Just rent a Room: n nSo if you are staying on the Cape why be stuck in a motel no living room, no kitchen, and no fresh water swimming in Great Pond only feet from your front door. (Northeast pond is also only a 2 minute walk from your front door and provides great fishing). Come, Relax, Enjoy and Unwind in this truly charming and unique spot in Wellfleet inside the National park right on a Great Pond in Cape Cod. n nHow many will it sleep? n nThe cottage accommodates up to 4, 1 King bed in 1 room, 1 bunk bed in the other (double bottom, single top). n nWill we see wild life? n nWhile we cannot guarantee what you will see we can speak to what has been seen. Birds abound everywhere on the Cape. There have been sightings of Wild Turkeys, Deer, Otters, Squirrels, Chipmunks, just to name a few. Some guest like to put bird feed out which draws in a multitude of different birds as well as squirrels and chipmunks. There are many many opportunities for photos, nearby and in your travels, don 't forget to bring your camera. n nWhat are the rental periods? n nRental periods run weekly from Saturday to Saturday. nCheck in is 3:00 pm and Check out is by 10 am. Multiple weeks are available. n nWhat is nearby? n nIt is about a 3 minute drive to the Ocean Beach, 5 minutes to the town center of Wellfleet and its lovely Bay beaches, and about 20 minute drive to P-Town. The town center has a small grocery store and the Stop and Shop (major grocery store) is located approx. 20 minutes away in Provincetown or in Orleans. The rail trail (bicycle riding trail) starts in south Wellfleet which is less than a 10 minute drive with ample free parking. The WHAT (Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater) is about 5 minutes away and offers many performances during the year. n nIs the cottage cleaned? n nThe cottage is fully cleaned by a professional cleaning crew. When you arrive everything will be fresh and clean. If you rent for more than two (2) weeks the cottage will be cleaned on Saturday of the 2nd week. (if you want it cleaned more often we can arrange to have a maid come in and clean at an additional expense). n nWhat is included? n nWasher and Dryer, Microwave, Coffee Maker, Blender, Phone for local calls, Full sized Gas Stove, Dishwasher w soap, Refrigerator (Ice Maker in freezer), and Bar-B-Que grill. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, plates, and silverware.
