The entire home has been newly renovated and the room that is available is a private room that is located on the second floor, which is a completely private three bedroom apartment which has its own separate entrance. The bedroom can accommodate one person and is furnished with a real single-size bed, a dresser, and a TV. There is free Satellite TV in the bedroom as well as in the shared living room. Additionally, there is free Wi-Fi and a computer workstation that can be shared among guests. The apartment is fully furnished and has a living room, dining room, kitchen, and one full bathroom. There is a washer/dryer in the apartment that is yours to use for free. The kitchen is fully equipped with all new appliances and utensils (refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots and dishes). About your accommodations: You will have a private room with a real full size bed, pillows, fresh linens and blankets, and clean towels. The bed and pillows are enclosed in protective covers to reduce dust and prevent dust mites and other allergens. The linens and blankets are changed after every guest depart. The room is furnished with a dresser, night stand, and Satellite TV. The room has hard wood floors and is bright and sunny from the natural light from the window. On a beautiful day you can walk (about 25 minutes) to Forest Park and enjoy the weather by the pond or you can watch parkgoer play games of tennis, baseball, or golf. The E train runs every 5 to 10 minutes during rush hours and 8 to 12 minutes evenings and weekends. AirTrain travels to the airport from Jamaica every 4 to 10 minutes. The AirTrain ride to the airport takes about 12 minutes. The AirTrain fare is $5.00 and is in addition to the subway fare which is $2.25. You can pay the AirTrain fare with a Pay-Per-Ride MetroCard. By car/taxi, the apartment is located within 6 minute of JFK International Airport. The E train subway (underground/tube/metro) is less than 1 block away/300 feet (less than a minute walk) and gets you to and from JFK International Airport via transfer to the AirTrain. The E train also gets you to Manhattan in about 25 minutes and to Time Square or Central Park in about 40 minutes and to the World Trade Center or Financial District in about 50 minutes.
