Description:The villa is located in the peaceful village of Arco da Calheta, where you will find locally a grocery store, post office, bars and cafés and a lovely church square. Just 1 kilometre away is the resort of Calheta, with its golden sandy beach, marina, and a good selection of bars and restaurants. For those of you wanting to visit the islands capital, Funchal, this is only 30 minutes by car. Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with kingsize bed and terrace. Bedroom 2 with double bed and terrace. Other: There is a separate gym room by the swimming pool with a treadmill and exercise bike. Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: Towels and linen is included in the rental. The house is cleaned on a weekly basis. Notes on accommodation Villa Moniz is a detached villa in a prominent position with views of the sea and mountains. There is so much space in Villa Moniz which makes it the perfect holiday home. It is beautifully decorated and each of the rooms have their individual splash of colour. All of the bedrooms are a good size and 3 of them have sea views and open onto the upstairs terrace. You have a choice of dining spaces - indoors in the kitchen or dining room or outside in the covered barbecue area. Outside The swimming pool is fresh water and measures 6 meters by 3 meters. There are sunbeds and parasols and swimming pool towels are provided. There is a terrace with hammock and bench, a covered barbecue area with seating for 10 people and a large garden. If you are feeling energetic you can spend some time in the gym room or for the less energetic go for a stroll to the village. Notes on prices The prices are based on 10 people sharing the villa. There is a supplement for the 11th and 12th person, please ask for a quote. There is an additional supplement of ?100 per week for the cleaning. You will be required to pay a ?300 security deposit on arrival. Changeover day Arrivals are accepted any day except Sunday. Generally we only accept bookings of 7 nights or more. It may be possible to accept stay of less than 7 days so please ask. Check-in time is after 16:00 and check-out at 10:00, although there is flexibility.
