With so much close by, it can be hard to want to leave and explore the area. Local attractions include the Lufkin zoo, Boykin springs park, Lake Sam Rayburn, Martin Jr Dies State Park, and many museums and historical sites. Fishing dominates the area and bass fishing is king around these parts. Be sure to bring a pole, or use the ones at the house.
