Description:Situated in the beautiful Lecrin Valley midway between Granada and the Costa Tropical, Agua Verde sleeps 4 to 6 people with 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms 2 further pull out beds if required in living room: This lovely character property is fully equipped for up to 6 people and has been tastefully restored - offering spacious accommodation(approx. 150m2) with many original features. The beautiful green-tiled swimming pool (which gives the house its name), is set in a lovely terrace which borders the orange groves. The house also enjoys fabulous panoramic views up and down the valley from master bedroom, huge living room and upper terraces. r n r nAlthough Agua Verde is situated in the heart of the pretty village of Albunuelas its terraces and pool area are not overlooked by other properties. This house has been restored with a connoisseur's eye for interesting authentic and structural details. It has two spacious, comfortable bedrooms (one double, one twin), powerful showers, plenty of living space, separate indoor and outdoor dining areas and stunning views. In the right season, glossy leaved branches heavy with oranges hang over the wall of the pretty pool terrace, which also contains a shaded Moroccan seating area to escape the sun of the hottest summer months. In winter months heating is supplemented by a very efficient wood-burning stove to heat the downstairs kitchen and dining areas and a lovely open fireplace in the living room. The Master bedroom has its own shower room and a balcony with breathtaking views of the Sierra de Albunuelas to wake up to. This is all in all a very well-equipped and relaxing property in which to stay. The living room has a TV/DVD player as well as radio/CD player etc and the generously equipped kitchen also has a dishwasher. Car access to the door is not possible, but there is free parking in the square close by and in the village car park. r n r nThe village of Albunuelas is picturesque and set in a stunning location (one of the prettiest in the valley). The village is set amid the orange and lemon special summer bars in the Upper Barrio (about 10 mins stroll) which also sometimes offer live entertainment. Historic Granada,the Alhambra Palace), the beaches of the Costa Tropical and the Alpujarras can all be reached within 40-45 mins. There are fantastic walks, local horse riding, fishing and cycling in the Valley and beaches, water parks, golf, water sports and skiing nearby.
