The castlec2b4s long and exciting history can be traced back to 1016, and because of many unexplainable phenomena the castle is said to be one of the most haunted in Europe. The castle was being renovated thoroughly and was opened as a castle hotel in 1990 with Prince Joachim as a protector. At Kokkedal Castle you can relax in historical surroundings and walk around in the large park with lawn. At the castle you can enjoy a nice dinner or join a wine tasting in the castlec2b4s historical wine cellar. During summer you can also use the indoor swimming-pool and the shared sauna or play tennis. As a guest you have also free access to the Internet at the castle. The large lawn in the park invites to ball games and recreation. There is also a playground for the children. If you want to use the castle's banqueting hall, it can be rented if booked in advance.
