Description:Papa Bears Den stands majestically on Ski Mountain in Gatlinburg TN, and is part of the renowned Chalet Village area. This cabin has 2900 Square Feet of living area and has everything you could possibly want in a vacation rental plus access to 3 nearby pools at 3 different locations, tennis courts at 2 locations, meeting rooms, and conference center. It also has first access to the snow plows, and other important city services. Please check the Chalet Village Owners Club website for hours of operation, and season. It is only minutes from both Ober Gatlinburg, with exciting snow skiing, ice skating and shopping, and all the entertainment of downtown Gatlinburg, the Great Smoky Mountain National Park or Pigeon Forge. It has an amazing Mountain View and Tram View and free discount program for restaurants and other fun things to do. There are awesome hiking trails just minutes away. The outlet malls are just 9 minutes in Pigeon Forge. Dolly Wood and all of the shows are there too. You won 't get bored this vacation unless that is your goal we have a nice hot tub for you to just relax if you want to. nWhen you enter this amazing three story log cabin, you 'll start your journey walking onto the bottom deck. Here you 'll find a view of the mountains and Mt. Le Conte, and you can wave at the folks on the tram as it passes by. In the spring, fall or after a rain, you can hear Holy Branch Creek meandering through the mountains. Walking inside you 'll find 2900 square feet of an amazing log cabin. This is possibly 3 times larger than other cabins you may compare to. The first floor features a bedroom with a king bed, dresser and a 32 flat screen TV. The second room down is a television room with a 32 flat screen TV, playstation 3 that plays playstation 2 with 30 games, and a DVD player. nHeading up the stairs you 'll enter the magnificent great room with the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Looking up you 'll see a staggering cathedral ceiling. In the living room, you 'll enjoy the riverstone gas fireplace, the new bear/moose/canoe printed sofa, chair, a 50 Plasma TV, blueray DVD Player. In the kitchen/dining room, there is a bay window for you to take in the amazing view. You 'll find plenty of space at the large table which seats 7 - 8 people with 2 chairs, a wide 5 ' bench, a wide 3 ' bench, and extra seating is available with 2 stools at the bar. n nThe kitchen is fully stocked wit, everything except the food. A refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, and much more! There 's a door that leads to the upper deck, which features 6 chairs, a table, and a new gas grill. The deck wraps around the corner and there you 'll find a new 5 person hot tub and stairs leading to a small yard in the back of the cabin. n nBack inside, the main level features 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen bed, 32 flat screen TV, night stand with drawers, and closet. There is also a laundry closet with a new full size ironing board, iron, washer and dryer. The second bedroom is the master and features a king bed, gas fireplace, closet, built-in shelves, large Jacuzzi tub, 37 flat screen TV, DVD player, and a private door out to the deck and the hot tub. Between the two bedrooms, is the first of two baths. This one has a double vanity, hair dryer, and standard bathtub with shower. n nOnce we move upstairs, it 's time for FUN! It has an 8 ' pool table! You 'll find a four person table for games, wet bar, sink, corner mounted 32 flat screen TV. There is also a full bath with shower on the upstairs level. All TV 's have DirecTV service.
