Description:This beautiful old stone farmhouse is in one of Pollenca's most prestigiouos locations, La Font - in lovely countryside outside the old town. The house has been lovingly restored by the owners Cayetana and Joan and is the ideal family hideaway. It is a quiet and private place with tropical gardens surrounding the swimming pool and a gated driveway. nFinca Cuxach has many original Mallorcan features such as whitewashed walls and beamed ceilings, as well as modern facilities. The entrance hall leads into an open-plan living and dining room, with a traditional stone fireplace, circular mahogany dining table and satellite television. The neat kitchen has appliances including a microwave, a fridge-freezer and a breakfast bar. There is also a separate laundry room. Also on the ground floor are two of the bedrooms, a twin and a double, both with sunny views of the garden. They have antique Mallorcan furniture, terracotta-tiled floors and plenty of storage in fitted wardrobes. These bedrooms share a bathroom with a bath and a shower. A staircase leads to the impressive master bedroom area which takes up the whole of the upper floor. It has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, a dressing room area, and views over the gardens and pool. nThe gardens are lush and colourful with views of the Boquer mountains. In spring the gardens are full of pink scented blossom and butterflies. And in the orchard, in summer, you can pick oranges and lemons, cherries and avocados. Tall palm trees shade the lawns around the pool. A covered stone terrace runs along the pool-side of the house, with garden furniture, a table-tennis table and stone barbecue. This is the perfect all-day place for shading from the sun and eating outside. The pool is also floodlit at night. n nFinca Cuxach is a fantastic house which combines traditional Mallorcan style with modern design and all in beautiful surroundings. It has central heating for early and late-season bookings.
