Description:INTRODUCTIONWelcome to my crib. My 55 m2 designer apartment consist of a quit master bedroom (king-size bed), a super cozy living-room, a kitchen, a hallway and a toilet/shower. My apartment is centrally located with sights such as the train-station, the old-city (Den gamle by), the Botanical, the stream (Åen) and the pedestrian area within walking distance.THE APARTMENTBedroom: Quiet bedroom with dark curtains, a 180 * 200 cm bed (medium to hard) and plenty of room for your stuff in the closet.Living room: Huge sofa that accommodate an additional two persons (if needed), a 42 inch flatscreen, Hi-Fi, free wireless internet (code: see white-board upon arrival), dinner table for 6 persons and a sunny bay window with perfect view towards the Botanical garden and the old city (Den gamle by).Hallway: Small hallway, big mirror.Kitchen: Refrigerator, small freezer, oven, 4 hot-plates, micro-oven, kettle, toaster and espresso-machine as well as designer cutlery etc. No dishwasher… Sorry..Toilet/Shower: Small but functional. Do however expect to get wet sucks.. Yes – I hate it just as much as you will ,-)Other: All in all a cozy crib kept in a minimalistic yet fashionable style. The apartment is perfect for two people, but it is suitable for up to four persons. The apartment is equipped with towels, linen and sheets for 2 persons. Washing machine at free disposal in the basement. TRANSPORTATIONPlane: Main DK airport ranked after passengers: Kastrup (Copenhagen), Billund, Aalborg and Aarhus. There are trains directly from Kastrup to Aarhus train station. Costs app. 400 DKK and takes app. 3 hrs. Transport by bus from Billund (just next to LEGO-Land) takes app. 5 quarters and cost a little less than 200 DKK. Aarhus Airport is really small, but is also the nearest airport. It cost less than 100 DKK (as far as I remember by bus) and takes 45 minutes to 1 hr.Train: The train station is located 15 minutes walk from the apartment. Trains every hr to and from Copenhagen.Car: Ask me for a parking permit (50 DKK/24 hrs – actual cost). Otherwise there is a really high risk that you will get a parking fine of more than 500 DKK!Taxi: 5 minutes from train-station. App. cost of 70 DKK (more expensive at night-time and in weekends). SIGHTS0 – 500 m: Aros museum and its roof-top rainbow, The Old Town (Den Gamle By), The Botanical Garden, The Pedestrian area, nightlife.500 m – 1 km: The Latin Quarter, the cathedral, the Stream (Åen), Bruuns galleri (shopping mall), and cinemas, nightlife.1 – 5 km: Aarhus University, beaches (both Risskov and Marselisborg), forests (again – both Risskov and Marselisborg), the marina.5 – 50 km: Mols bjerge, the sky mountain (Himmelbjerget), Randers regnskov, Fregatten Jylland (Ebeltoft) etc..50 km : LEGO-land. SHOPPINGThe main shopping areas include the Pedestrian area (Strøget), the laid-back and hip Latin Quarter (Latiner kvarteret) and Bruuns Galleri (shopping mall next to the train station). All of it is within walking distance… GROCERIESThe nearest discount grocery is less than 50 m away (Netto). Two other groceries are less than 200 m away (Super Brugsen and Super best).
