Description:Il Casale (6-7sleeps) - la Stalla (15 sleeps) - la Stalla piccola (6 sleeps) r n r nIlCasale has retained all the character and charm of the monastery from which it derives (17th century). r nOn the first floor lies a spacious and bright apartment enjoying the surrounding wooded landscape. r nIt consists of a large living room with exposed beams and fireplace, three double rooms, three bathrooms, a delightful kitchen fully equipped. r nOn the ground floor, two large spaces with brick vaults, stone arches and mangers, an ideal location also for parties and receptions. r n r nLa Stalla r nhas been divided into two independent and connected apartments: r n r nLa Stalla is the larger apartment characterized by an ample and bright dining room with fireplace, a warm reading room access to verandas can host 12-14 persons. r nFrom the central space, six double rooms with bath and a double room with door window overlook the garden. The kitchen, large and fully equipped overlooks two panoramic verandas. r n r nThe second apartment, la Stalla piccola for 6 persons, consists of a comfortable dining room, connected with its veranda, two double rooms with bathrooms and one double room open on a larger veranda, a comfortable and functional kitchen also overlooks the western garden. r n r nThe pool and the garden. r nA panoramic pool looks around hills, a barbecue and a woodstove are build in the ancient farm 's structures in the garden. Verandas (150smq) covered by rincosperna runs around La Stalla. A patio sourrounded of medical herbs, rincosperna, and a cherry is build next to Casale. r nTable tennis, bicycles, or having a walk trought the trees in the hill nearby. A well-stocked market, a chemist and newsagent are 900m far. r n r nThe sorroundings: Rome, Sutri and the Tuscia countryside, with its roman, etruscan, medioeval sites, as well as Renaissance 's statesments. r nLocated in a strategic position, Capranica-Sutri train station is 800m/8minutes walk from the estate, joinable by car or by walk on a large path throught cultivated fields. Rome is easily reachable: only 50 km far (1h10 by regional train to St . Peters ' station / Basilica di S. Pietro, 1.20h to Trastevere 's station, or 50 min. by car). Both roman 's train stations are connected with Leonardo da Vinci Airport. Guided tours of the area, towns and Rome can be arranged with an historian of art expert of these areas and well prepared. On request, three different itineraries can be drawn together: Etruscan-Roman, Medioeval, Renaissance. r n r nViterbo is also only 30 km far. You can also easily visit the region and reach several resorts of historical, archaeological and natural heritage. r nThe ancient city of Sutri, in the immediate neighbourhood (5km) of the estate, offers several monuments of special interest, such as the Etruscan metropolis, the Roman Amphitheatre and the Mitreum. Capranica is the closest town: you can visit the intact medioeval quartier. r nNot too far away, you may visit many charming towns and cities of the region La Tuscia, Viterbo, Civita di Bagnoregio, Montefiascone, Caprarola.... and its natural beauties, such as the lakes (Bracciano, Vico and Martignano) or the thermal baths of Stigliano and Terme dei Papi. You may also play golf at Golf Club Le Querce. You can go horse riding in a beautiful and wide estate nearby where professionists can discover paths close to Vico 's Lake, and beginners should start to learn. r n r nThe cottages of Tenuta Santa Barbara sit on a green hill, surrounded by hazelnut and oaks trees.
