When we're away, which is rare, we rent the empty apartment and you won't be sharing the space with us. We will be away and the entire place is yours September 3 to 20. In addition to the listed amount, we will ask you for a separate 50% PayPal refundable damage deposit. When we're here, which is usually, we're offering a room in our place while we're in the other bedroom. You can find that listing (limit one person except in rare instances) at listing 21068. There are cafés and shops one block away on Divisadero Street. It's a hip, young (a little too hip and young for us sometimes) neighborhood with lots going on. We're five minutes' walk from one of the most beautiful small parks in the city (Alamo Square, where thousands of people a day take photos of the painted ladies). If you take public transport, we're a few minutes away from the Civic Center BART station, from which you can easily get to Berkeley or Oakland or the airports in half an hour. We provide freshly washed sheets, towels and basic food preparation items such as spices, oils, condiments and teas. In some cases, we'll make more food available.
