Description:Cottage Profile This cottage is located 1.5 km from beautiful Point Clark sand beach and north of the historic lighthouse. This four bedroom cottage is located on a network of sandy trails leading 300m to the beach in a quiet cottage community. A fenced backyard provides a nice private setting but a beach access runs down the south property line. A driveway has parking for 2 cars, it is half gravel and half concrete. The living area has a comfortable couch and a large window looking out to the back yard. There is a TV with satellite and a modern stereo system. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a microwave, stove, oven and fridge adjacent to the dining area. This area has a nice wooden table and six chairs (three wooden chairs and three stackable plastic and metal chairs). A door leads from the living area out to a wooden back yard deck with BBQ and picnic table. Through a passageway, and physically separated from the living area, the cottage has four bedrooms on two levels, one with a queen, two bedrooms with a double each, and the third with two single beds. In the passage way, and at the side door, there is a laundry room (washer and dryer). There's no need to go into town! There is a screened in porch on the roadside of the cottage. This is a great spot to sit on hot summer days and nights away from the mosquitos. There are two bathrooms, one of which is a four piece, and the other, located upstairs, which is a two piece with a sink and toilet. The large fenced in backyard of the cottage has plenty of grass for the kids to play. The property has a large fire pit for summer fun. All this and a nice outdoor deck / sitting area. There is also a small childrens playground (Lion's Park) in the area about a 2 minute walk away. A beautiful sand beach is located a very short walk away, about 300 metres from the cottage. Or about 3km to the Point Clark marina ramp where you can drop in your boat. This is a quiet, sandy beach. A few rocks sit on the shore, with a scattering of pebbles and rocks at the water’,s entrance. A shallow shoreline and gradual slope into the water makes the beach suitable for children. It does not, however, have washroom facilities. Swim shoes are recommended. Take long walks along the beach out to the Point Clark lighthouse, one of the historical 1850's Imperial lighthouses. Once at the lighthouse, take a short ten minute walk down a small nature trail, to get the kids some ice cream at the ice cream stand. This area offers nice cycling with a combination paved and gravel roads.
