Description:Villa Della Palme is one of the British Virgin Islands most elegant and gracious homes and boasts some of the most spectacular landscaping in the BVI. Designed by Jon Osman who is also responsible for Richard Bransonc3a2e282ace284a2s Necker Island mansion,it was professionally decorated for use as a private residence. The Villa has just been completely refurbished and is being made available for vacation renters when the owners are not using it. The Villa sits on two acres overlooking Brewer's Bay on Tortola's lush northwest side. r n r nElectronic gates open to a long, palm-lined driveway that leads to covered parking adjacent to the Villa. r n r nBuilt on three levels, the Villa's entry floor includes a great room, a master suite and a office. The great room has 3 walls of custom mahogany windows that offer stunning, almost unbelievable views.French doors doors open to a classic West Indian verandah for alfresco dining or sitting and enjoying the view of the glorious gardens, the islands in the distance, the endless ocean, the sound of tropical birdsong and the cool trade winds. r n r nThe great room also includes a formal dining area, a well equipped kitchen with custom mahogany cabinets, a formal sitting area and an area for viewing TV and DVD's. r n r nThe main level's east wing includes an office with a powder room and a beautifully furnished, air-conditioned master suite with a newly redone large master bath that ihas a shower, a bathtub, a double vanity and picture window views of the landscaping. The master suite also offers a private balcony with views of the garden and the sea. r n r nThe second level of the Villa is the west wing,1/2 a flight of stairs below the main level. The west wing is entered through a 3 story tall tower and a corridor. Both are filled with antique prints of flora and marine life, pastel drawings and oil paintings. r n r nThe west wing includes the Terracotta Suite and the Monkey Suite. Both are air-conditioned, queen bedded suites with private baths. Both of these suites enjoy private, vine covered balconies looking out to the sparkling ocean. r n r nAnother 1/2 level down is the air-conditioned Patio Suite. It is furnished with two queen beds and has a private bath. The Patio suitre gives direct access to the large pool patio. r n r nThe tile floors throughout the Villa are strewn with oriental rugs and the walls covered with antique prints of Caribbean life, plant life, sea life, original pastel drawings, oil paintings and tapestries.The furnishings thoughout the Villa are of first quality, mostly manufactured by Baker, one of America's premiere furniture companies. . r n r nA few steps down from the 3rd level is the Patio. Completely private and surrounded by thre Villa's landscaping and garden, the patio is a space where the entire day can be spent by a couple or a family. There is an outdoor sound system for music everywhere on the patio level. r n r n The center section of the Patio includes a full size swimming pool that is from 3 to 7 feet deep, a shaded sitting area and a hammock. r n r nTo the east and up 4 steps is the outdoor dining patio. It includes a built-in barbeque grill, a second kitchen/bar that supports the barbeque grill and a custom made, tile-top dining table that seats up to 6 people. r n r nA stone path leads from the east ewnd of the dining patio into a small fruit- tree orchard and then into the Villa's terraced garden. r n r nOn the west side of the swimming pool is an area for sunbathing. It includes four chaise-longe and another custom made dining table that seats 4 people. r n r nFirst class in every way, Villa Della Palme is highly recommended by former guests. r n r nAmenities: r n5 satellite TV's with DVD's, Bose sound system, movie music collections, books, Air-conditioning in all bedrooms, safes in all bedrooms, answering fax machines, a guest computer with high speed internet access, WiFi, and a 2 printers (in case you bring a laptop), hammock, gas grill, assorted snorkel gear, pool exercise equipment, pool toys and floats, baby crib and baby high chair, an electronic gate into property with intercom, automatic generator, dishwasher and laundry. r nA complimentary, simple cold supper with a bottle of wine is provided for your arrival night, along with a complimentary starter pack with your next morning''s breakfast fixings. r n r nUpon arrival at the airport or the ferry terminal, our house manager will greet you and lead you to the Villa. r n
