Since our condo faces south, you can see the sun rise to the east over majestic Haleakala, and watch it set over the West Maui hills, or gaze over the waves to Kahoolawe, Molokini and Lanai! In late November/early December, the amazing humpback whales migrate from Alaskan waters to their winter home off Maui 's shores. Like us, many of them have decided that Maalaea Bay is their favorite place to stay! From our condo you have front row seats to watch them breach and slap, and teach their young the ways of whaledom. n nBut it is not only the spectacular beachfront location and glorious views of ocean, mountain, and whales that set our condo apart. We have gone to great lengths to provide our guests with as many of the comforts and conveniences of home as possible in our island retreat. After we bought our place, we remodeled it and installed split system air conditioning so that all of the rooms had climate control. Directly outside of the living room you will find our private covered lanai overlooking the surf. It is furnished with table and chairs for you to enjoy while al fresco dining, or just whale watching or star gazing. n nPerfect for families or two couples sharing the condo, each of our two bedrooms has its own bathroom. The master bedroom, with spectacular ocean views on two sides, offers a king-sized bed, and master bath with step-in shower. The guest bedroom also has an ocean view, and has twin beds which can be made up as a king, the guest bathroom offers a tub/shower combination. Both bathrooms have grab bars in the showers.
